BYE-BYE DRY

Violet Cream DREAM

This gloss, called Violet Cream, looks a little dark, right? This gloss is one reason not to judge a book by its cover. Now, I'm fair, actually very fair according to my new dermatologist Doris Day. And this gloss looks lovely on my lips. It's natural -looking, but there's enough pigment to make a statement. I love Three Color glosses because they feel good on my dry lips. I would wear this color everyday. But it could also be worn for an evening event if you don't want a super strong mouth. On my lips, this gloss is less purple-y and more mauve. Very pretty.

Tinted Moisturizers

A friend recently asked me to recommend a tinted moisturizer. To answer this question fully, I would need to know more about your skin tone and color. You might like the way one brand matches your skin tone, but not the way it feels on your skin; if you're dry, you need something more emoillent, combination, less so.


There are many good tinted moisturizers out there. Here are a few of them:

But here is a trick. If you have a moisturizer you like and you like your foundation, you can mix them to create your own private label brand.
