Ped Egg

The new Walgreens opened on 97th and B'way yesterday. Finally. I hope it puts the horrible Rite-Aid out of business.
I stopped by 3 times. I told you I was a drugstore junkie.
Anyway, I picked up a ped egg and I can't wait to try it out and fill you in. Let's see how it works on my calluses.

NYC Makeup Show

An update now on a previous post. The Makeup Show NYC is shaping up to be a great one. Lancome reps will be there, reaching out to new artists. Also, Lancome's celebrity makeup artist Sandy Linter kicks off the event Sunday as the keynote speaker. The show takes place this Sunday and Monday at The Metropolitan Pavillion.

Natural glow, no sun required

What it does: Provides protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays and gives a glow.

For a light, sun-kissed look, use Stila Brush #8 to lightly apply Shade #1.

Dust over the nose, tops of cheeks and forehead – wherever the sun naturally touches the skin.

For a tanner look, use Shade #2.

I tried this product at Sephora Tuesday. I applied it using a large bronzer brush which helped to create a soft look.

NYC Makeup Show

I am so excited for the NYC Makeup Show.
It's a great way to check out new products, get a heads up on trends and meet industry leaders. Plus, I'll be there on my birthday. So I will be spending the day surrounded by beauty-ful people on my special day. Lots of great exhibitors too, including : Alison Raffaele, Awake Cosmetics, Becca, Boaz-Stein, Cover Girl, Kett, Lord and Berry and Stila Cosmetics. The event takes place Sunday May 18th and Monday May 19th at The Metropolitan Pavillion on 18th street.

One of the things I like best about P&J foundation is that it is light and provides good coverage. What I've learned, however, is that it is best applied with a foundation brush. You can use your fingers, but a brush will give you beautiful coverage. The formula creates a smooth, even canvas so you can 'make up' your face any way you want. Mother's Day is Here

Today is a day we celebrate mothers. If you haven't already picked up flowers or a card for your mom, you're screwed.
