Also, I recommend the manicures at Acqua Beauty Bar. I had a little free time today in between meetings so I decided to treat myself to a manicure and cool off from day 6 of the heat wave.
I really think Acqua does the best job in the City. True, Acqua's are more expensive than the average corner salon, but their manicures last.

I totally stick to my neighborhood salon in Astoria, Athena's Nails. $8 and it's super clean and they do a great job:)
